Wine Wednesday ~ Summer Wines

Next weekend in the USA, we take pause to remember all the brave men and women who gave their lives so that we can exercise all of our freedoms, including our ability to freely talk about the wine of our choosing every Wednesday evening on Wine Wednesday. This episode of Wine Wednesday falls on May 25^th at 7:00 pm Eastern Time.

Memorial Day weekend is also traditionally thought of as the unofficial start to summer; so, let’s kick it off by talking about our favorite wines for warm summer evenings spent outside while enjoying friends and family. There are so many beautifully refreshing “summertime sippers” (generally lighter white or rosé wines) to enjoy on the patio or deck or veranda. So, grab a bottle of your favorite summertime wine elixir, take pictures of the front and back labels, send those photos to WineCat@pa.net by 11 PM Tuesday for inclusion in our weekly PowerPoint slide show, and get ready to share some facts and tasting notes about the “summertime sipper” of your choice!
