Cruising Rosé
Gather your friends and family for a relaxing evening as we set sail on the Pride of the Susquehanna for an evening cruise of wine, food and friends on June 12th from 7-9 p.m.
The boat sails PROMPTLY at 7:00 p.m. from the dock on City Island. Latecomers unfortunately will be left behind.
The Harrisburg Senators will be in Richmond, VA that evening for an away game so parking should be easy.
You will taste Rosé wines from around the world paired with hors d’oeuvres while learning something about each of the wines.
Sit inside on the enclosed lower deck or enjoy the upper deck as we cruise down the river taking in the sites of the city and wildlife along the river. You will have a bird’s eye view from the upper deck to watch the sunset as we cruise back to port. Sunset is at 8:36 p.m. on June 12th.
This is an informal event so you will have time to talk about the wines you are tasting and make new friends who also enjoy wine. Hopefully, you will come away with a favorite wine or two you can enjoy during the warm days of summer.
Our event is catered by Savory Occasions, Hershey. If you know Savory Occasions, you know to expect excellent food and service. We selected a menu of small hors d’oeuvres plates to pair with the Rosés:

- Bacon-wrapped Scallops
- Pineapple Habanero Ham Balls
- Smoked Salmon Crostini
- Fresh Berry Mini-Cheesecakes

I encourage you to sign up early as we are marketing this event on the Pride of the Susquehanna’s and Savory Café and Savory Occasions Catering’s Facebook pages. We must honor a FIRM May 26th Reservation DEADLINE to allow riverboat and caterer preparations.
