This installment of Wine Wednesday is inspired by the book of the same title by Henry Billings. If you have never picked up a copy of this easily read yet hilarious primmer extoling the virtues of cheap wines, then you are missing out!  So, whether you are a closet Cribari drinker or someone who cut their teeth on a jug of Gallo Hearty Burgundy, this book (and, the topic of cheap wines) is for you!

Pull your pride up by its bootstraps, summon up your inner cheapskate, latch onto a bottle (or, box… or, jug) of your favorite plonk and join us on the Zoom link shown below this coming Wednesday evening, April 7^th at 7:00 p.m. for the antithesis of wine snobbery as we poke a little fun at all of those wines whose names you cannot pronounce!  For this exercise, we will define “cheap” as any wine that is $15 or less (per bottle, box, or jug).

Oh, and, be sure to take photos of the front, and if appropriate, back labels of your favorite rotgut and send them to WineCat@pa.net for inclusion in our PowerPoint Parade of Plonk!
