Exploring the Roots of Napa

The Valley is calling, let’s answer with a glass in hand!  Experience the allure of California’s Napa Valley in every pour at the upcoming Roots of Napa event at the Hilton Harrisburg on October 2^nd at 7 p.m. to experience the variety of exceptional wines that Napa has to offer.

Napa Valley is one of the world’s premier wine regions renowned for its ideal grape-growing climate, diverse soils, and commitment to quality winemaking.  Stretching approximately 30 miles from north to south, the valley is home to more than 400 wineries that produce a wide range of varietals.  Its Cabernet Sauvignons and Chardonnays can compete with the best from around the world (with two even beating their French competitors at the Judgment of Paris in 1976) but its note-worthy wines are not limited to these two varietals with the region also producing highly rated Sauvignon Blancs, rosés, Petit Syrahs, and Rhone-style blends.

From Napa’s lush Cabernet Sauvignon and bold Petit Syrah to rosé and elegant whites all paired with thoughtfully selected small plates to highlight the wines, this guided tasting will transport guests to this iconic wine country while highlighting the region’s rich history, distinctive terroir, and celebrated winemaking traditions.
