Aromatized Wines – Vermouth, Vini Amari, and Bitters 

This will be an overview of aromatized wines, or wine-based beverages that are flavored with botanicals. A few may have neutral spirits added for stabilization and may be classified as fortified wine.

Our tasting and discussion will break into four different areas to help understand aromatized wines.

First, with different Vermouth brands; their styles and origin.

Then we will explain (wine based) Vini Amari or bitter wines and their uses.

Digging a little deeper into the aromatized category, and similar to vermouth, are uniquely flavored Quinquina wines and its subcategory Americano.
