Francophiles – this one is for you!   Join wine importer Sunil Khanna, owner of Hand Picked Selections (HPS), for our own tour de France featuring thoughtfully curated, exceptional wines that exude terroir, tradition, and authenticity.  

Hand Picked Selections is an importer of artisanal wines from independent growers and family-owned wineries in Europe.  Headquartered in Washington DC, HPS was founded in 1985 and now has a footprint in 42 states, Canada, and the Caribbean.  Their portfolio includes a mix of deeply traditional domaines, dynamic, unorthodox individuals, and a host of uncommonly good values that always over-deliver.  Budget Friendly!  The growers HPS works with have great respect for the land they cultivate, and practice sustainable agriculture with minimal intervention in the cellar.  This has been true of the wines HPS imports for several decades.

The HPS guiding philosophy is about bringing honesty, integrity, and expertise to all business relationships, operating under the principle that they should always be a pleasure to work with— and wine always a pleasure to drink.  We agree!

Our event will feature ten selections from seven French grape-growing regions whose wines serve as benchmarks worldwide.
