Italianity – Discover the Soul of Italian Wines with Jessica Dupuy

Italy isn’t just one of the world’s greatest wine-producing countries—it’s a collection of hundreds of unique wine cultures, each with its own history, traditions, grapes, and unmistakable sense of place.
On Friday, September 11, the Pennsylvania Wine Society is excited to virtually welcome acclaimed wine writer, certified sommelier, and author Jessica Dupuy for an unforgettable evening exploring the soul of Italian wine through her newest book, Italianity.
Jessica is one of today’s most respected voices in wine. Her work has appeared in Wine Enthusiast, Forbes, Texas Monthly, GuildSomm, Imbibe, Southern Living, and numerous other leading food and wine publications.
As both an accomplished educator and engaging storyteller, she has a remarkable ability to connect what’s in your glass to the history, culture, and people who made it.
Each attendee receives a signed of copy of Italianity, making this much more than a wine tasting. It’s an opportunity to continue exploring Italy’s remarkable wine regions long after the evening concludes.
The tasting itself promises to be a journey from north to south across Italy. Together, we’ll explore the dramatic vineyards of Alto Adige, the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, the rolling hills of Piedmont, the elegance of Tuscany, and beyond.
